The sunsets on the bay and river are often spectacular -- this is Sept. 6, 2003.

Cap'n Bob will be your host and your guide to the bay.

Fun destinations await you on Barnegat Bay -- this is the dockside bar at the Captain's Inn in the early morning .  With the tables cleared away you can see the size of the giant deck. Restaurant in background.

Fresh air, clean water, and abundant wildlife are what Barnegat Bay is all about.

Old Barney, usually seen at a distance, is easily reached on an overnight trip.

Anchoring out is an unforgettable experience. Here a sistership finds a snug anchorage as day gives way to night at Applegate Cover, a quiet spot a few miles north of Toms River.  This cove, by way, is named for one of Capt. Bob's relatives.

The sailing is great.  Considered one of the best spots in the east for reliable winds.

The sailing scene on the bay includes an occasional tall ship.  Here we have "pulled over" to admire the A.J.Meerwald, New Jersey's official tall ship.

The O'day 34 is a fast and safe boat.  Not many sailboats pass us.  Take the wheel and learn what sailing is all about.
